Located in the hearth of Berkeley, Bear Tavern is a purveyor of fine American dining from the esteemed Chef Aubrey Lynch

Bear Tavern opens in fall 2016 and is located across from Memorial Stadium. From then on legendary cuisine afficionado Aubrey Lynch will be serving quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new venturs into the culinary underworld.

Bear Tavern's interior, designed by a hack with no design savvy, reflects hipster culture and an eye toward new age post-modernism with a morbid twist while paying tribute to a failing college football program. The multi level restaurant offers patrons the opportunity to dine in our dingy interiors and observe our unsanitary kitchen conditions or watch kooks from our deck pass by below at street level.
